You are in denial of your true nature. Everything has a yin and a yang. A plus and a minus. Everything has trade-offs. But what you’re missing is the upside of it all. You’re focusing too negatively on what could go wrong. Whereas you need to focus more on what could possibly go right in this situation. What’s missing is your positivity. Now, things have been pretty bleak for a long time. So it’s completely understandable that, from a physical perspective, you’re focused more on the negatives because you’re trying to field what’s coming at you from the perspective of survival. ”What’s going to happen next? What can I do to mitigate those consequences or negative attributes of the situation? How do I survive? How do I make it through the next day? How do I make it to the next day?”
The survival instinct is killing your ability to recognize the potential upside and to focus positively into what it is that you are wanting to manifest. Your desires. There are ultimately no consequences to failure. It might seem like the consequence of failure is homelessness or poverty or not being able to take care of yourself or your family, when in reality you are being provided for. You have to place your trust and your faith in the spirit guides that are here alongside you, any deities that you believe in or worship that they have your back, the family, the people that you have around you will also be able to help take care of you. If you don’t have that support network, you have to believe in yourself, that you will figure out some clever situation to get yourself out of any scrapes that you might find yourself in. You have to believe in yourself, ultimately.
That’s truly what’s missing from this equation. You’ve calculated everything perfectly or purposefully down to all the details of the logistics and what are you doing on Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday and your daily schedule and routine. What you have not accounted for is your own skill, your own talent, your own ability to perform magic in this world. Your true magic lies in your capability to allow yourself to fly, to take a leap of faith, to believe in yourself and to do something that you think is crazy from a logical perspective because you are allowing yourself the space to allow your wings to unfold. You’re allowing yourself the space to perform your magic. This is by definition going to seem illogical on a mental front. From attempting to craft a perspective from logic or rationality.
Because by all means, it shouldn’t work. This is not something that you were taught in school. This is not something you were encouraged to do. But magic defies reason for purpose. And wouldn’t life be less interesting if only logical outcomes that were always expected only ended up working out? It seems that the most interesting stories of growth and expansion and of triumph are the ones that seem to defy all the odds, and this is your moment to defy the odds. Now, we’re not telling you to put yourself in unsafe situations.
We’re just telling you to put one foot in front of the other, and allow yourself to explore those off limits areas within your mind, within your being that feel unsafe, not because they are inherently treacherous, but because they move you towards a greater truth or reasoning with yourself. They move you towards the greater truth of your capability, of your uniqueness, of your embodiment of that which is divine. They move you towards the illogical that you are able to perform. They’re scary not because they confirm that you are limited, but because they confirm that you are, in fact, limitless.
There is no such thing as limitation in this world. Only that which will move you closer to or farther away from your own alignment with your soul. Therefore, your reasoning for doing things must not be because it makes logical sense and because you believe that you can predict the outcome. It must be that you do something because you feel it is right within your gut and within your soul. When you find your heart and your mind to be at odds, trust your heart to the degree that you are able to, without feeling like your mind is panicking to the point where you are not able to function. This will give you enough leeway to inch yourself towards that which you recognize as being your ultimate core truth without panicking to the point that you feel so flustered that you’re not able to make the moves that you need to make.
Why this feels so hard is that there can often be consequences to trying risky things or trying things that are outside of the norm, or seem odd to others. Trying things that others tell you not to do, and in the event that things don’t work out, they turn around and say, “I told you so.” You have accumulated enough of these experiences to where there’s a certain level of apprehension to putting yourself out there on the line again and risking it all for the sake of staying in alignment with your own soul. But this is what must happen in order for you to get unstuck and move forward.
There is no “reason for being” outside of maintaining alignment with your soul. Alignment with your soul is where your personal truth comes from. It’s where your happiness and joy comes from, it’s where feelings of fulfillment come from. These are all things that keep you in alignment with your soul. When you start to drift from these core truths of yourself, that is when you end up lost. That is when you end up feeling like you’re not connected to your own self. That’s when you start to feel like you’re dissociating from your own life, from your own body. Your decisions feel like they’re disconnected from your true health and well-being, from the true logic, which is your ability to stay in alignment with your gut, with your higher self, with your soul.
How do you get back in alignment? Small steps. Every day, make one choice, pick one thing, make one decision that feels more like a “yes” than a “no”. You might be so off your path or feel so off of your path that it feels like you’re constantly bombarded with feeling like you have to make decisions that take you further away from yourself. Being in this position can feel like death by a 1,000 cuts, death by a 1,000 betrayals of yourself. Things need not be this way, but it can take some time to get yourself back on track. It is possible to get yourself into a situation where every decision, every thought, every feeling you have feels like it’s swimming downstream of your core true self. Every day, make one decision for yourself that feels like it’s in alignment, even if it’s something small, like choosing a spoon instead of a fork to eat your dinner.
Be careful of the media you consume. Part of you might enjoy aspects about a certain TV show or movie or podcast, but part of you might feel like there’s something damaging about it. Don’t ignore that part of you that feels like it would rather not engage with that kind of media. Instead, try to choose to engage with forms of media or entertainment that feel like a full body “yes” for you, even if they seem like they’re not as stimulating or dynamic, engaging.
Another way you can do this is with regards to your clothes and how you express yourself physically. If there is any part of your current wardrobe or outfits that you wear that don’t feel 100% in alignment with how you want to express yourself physically, tweak that thing. If you don’t like wearing ties, get rid of them. Put them somewhere in your wardrobe temporarily so that you can experience what it feels like to be without that thing that feels out of alignment. Maybe you prefer wearing heels instead of flats. Buy one pair and try wearing them every now and then. See what it feels like to incorporate something into your wardrobe that makes you feel more like yourself. Maybe if you usually wear makeup and you want to express yourself by going for a more natural look or without makeup at all, try that. And vice versa, if you usually don’t wear makeup and you want to explore what it might feel like to explore your artistic side and to express yourself with more of a makeup look, then try that. Allow yourself to get outside of the definition of who you defined yourself to be previously. The more that you start to push these boundaries, explore these boundaries, and most importantly, feel into how your body reacts to doing things that might feel a bit shocking or out of the norm for yourself, the more information you’ll have on what direction to go in. You’ll need to feel into it and continue to allow yourself to choose to move in the direction of those things that feel good or feel like whole-body “yeses” and allow yourself to stop doing those things that feel like whole-body “nos” or feel more like discomfort or misalignment.
Ultimately, you’re the only one who really knows yourself at the level of being able to feel into what is right for you and what is wrong for you. The deeper the relationship that you form with other people as well, they’ll also be able to have a sense of what feels right and what feels wrong for you and it will also help to improve your relationships, the more authentic you are with yourself. Others will also not feel a certain level of discomfort around you because they understand that you’re not 100% in alignment with yourself and being authentic. So this is also a way to help improve your relationships with people that you have closer relationships with. It’s a reflection of improving your relationship with yourself.
Trust yourself that you will eventually be able to know yourself, but also give yourself the grace and the time and the space to be able to experiment. That’s the key message here is to continue experimenting with what feels more or less in alignment with yourself and allow yourself the time to play around with those things, those forms of expression, those decisions that you make, and to continue to move in the direction of those whole-body “yeses” and away from those whole-body “nos”.
Over time, the more you practice this, the more that you become authentic with yourself and how you express yourself and how you exist in the world. There will be much more ease in your life and there will be a lessening of any tension that you feel literally physically in your body, but also cognitively, and that will help to clear up things like any brain fog, stress, and anxiety that may experience, literally as a result of not being in alignment with your soul. This is a gradual process.
There’s nothing dramatic or drastic to be done here. It’s a very soft correction process that is ongoing and may take years, but ultimately is worth the price of having to just pay more attention to how you are feeling and what makes you feel better versus worse. Your body will be more at ease in the long run because of it and this can help to improve your health and overall sense of well-being and peace.
